Decimal blanks are not seen very often, decimal blanks with errors even less so! This 5.19g 2 cent bronze blank has been rimmed and shows a small clip which is obvious as the rim is not raised in that area. Weakness in the rim opposite is also apparent, this is ‘Blakesley Effect’ and one sign of a genuine clipped planchet.
