C1970-4. 45mm x 65mm rectangular medals struck by the Australian Numismatic Society in 1970 for the Bicentenary of James Cook. One in bronze (99 grams) and one in oxidised silver (102 grams). Sculpted by well known coin designer James Berry. Mintage in Bronze is 170 and oxidised silver 140.
