The kangaroo has been known as an uniquely Australian animal for many years; however, the Royal Australian Mint in 2013 paid tribute to countries around the world that also have become a home
to this unique animal.
The Royal Australian Mint and the Norowdy Bank Polski combined their skills and expertise to produce this two coin set of which two very different kangaroos are featured.
The coin produced by Norowdy Bank Polski features a coloured image of their rare Albino Kangaroo, a Red-necked Wallaby, which was born in captivity. The Royal Australian Mint also uses colour to bring to life an Eastern Grey Kangaroo, commonly found in bushland across the country.
Each coin has been struck from one ounce fine silver with a colour printed image of these two spectacular kangaroos. Housed in a wooden display case and accompanied by a numbered certificate this set is stylish and will appeal to the savviest of collectors.
