Struck to Uncirculated quality in aluminium bronze (the same metal used in dollar coins) this three coin dodecagonal 50 cent coin set celebrates three of the most beloved poems by Australian poet, Henry Lawson. The set includes three coins with different reverse designs that represent three famous poems, The Drover’s Wife, The Loaded Dog, and On the Edge of a Plain, each authored by Henry Lawson. Each coin is presented in a coloured individual card and the cards in this three coin set are contained in an envelope. The obverse of each has the Jody Clark portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.
This set will appeal to collectors of Australian themed coins, poetry lovers, and lovers of the Australian bush. Mintage for each coin is limited to 40,000.
