To mark the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games and to support the Australian Commonwealth Games Team the Royal Australian Mint is releasing this commemorative gold-plated copper nickel dodecagonal fifty cent coin. The reverse depicts the logo of the Games and three athletes playing their selected sports. The obverse bears the Jody Clark portrait of the Queen. The coin is housed in a capsule in a green and gold informational card.
