Thomas Fotheringham helped founded the Fotheringham Brothers Brewery in 1878 on Julian Terrace in Gawler, South Australia. The Brewery ran until 1898 when it was re-named Greyhound Brewery. There is a street in Gawler named Fotheringham Terrace after Thomas’s family who not only ran the brewery but also a cordial/aerated waters business. A significant medal for local South Australian history.
