This 1963 half penny minted in Perth had a hard time while being manufactured. It was struck once, failed to exit the coining chamber when it was supposed to, rotated about 30 degrees in the collar die and then was struck again. This resulted in a very impressive rotated double strike error. These types of errors are rare indeed and one of the most desirable error types. Strong details of first strike remain obvious.
