Amazing 1967 20c that has split into two halves and (somehow) both halves have been kept together. It’s not uncommon to see one half of a split planchet error but to see a mated pair like this is very unusual. The date is earlier than most split planchets we’ve seen and the grade is excellent, we’ve conservatively graded them almost uncirculated (AU).
