1986 South Australia Sequicentenary (150th) Jubilee gold, silver, and bronze medallion set. Struck to proof standards by the Royal Australian Mint with the portrait of Queen Adelaide on the obverse and the reverse with the 150th Jubilee logo. The portrait of Queen Adelaide by William Wyon, replicated from original dies used by Great Britain to strike medals in 1830. Includes original box, certificate and letter from Kym Bonython, the chairman of the 150 Jubilee board. Just 150 sets produced, 10 presented to dignitaries and 140 made available via public ballot. This is a public ballot set numbered 55.
All medals are 32.88mm in diameter
Gold Medal – 33 grams, 22 carat (0.973 oz actual gold weight)
Silver Medal – 18 grams, sterling silver (0.535 oz actual silver weight)
