Celebrating Elizabeth II as the longest reigning monarch in British history passing the old record set by her great-great grandmother Queen Victoria.
This coin is a showpiece for a couple of reasons (besides Her Majesty bypassing the previous record of 23,226 days, 16 hours and 23 minutes {63 years and seven months}). Being 1oz of fine silver and only 32.6mm sees it a hefty 6mm thick coin. The design features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of HM on both sides, the reverse surrounded by Tudor roses. The portraits (and roses) are stuck in intaglio which is an incuse (cut-out) impression in the coin surface.
A much prettier coin in hand than the images suggest.
Coin in capsule in presentation case with outer box and certificate of authenticity.
