Showcasing a Laughing Buddha carved from Jade, a stone traditionally symbolising beauty, purity and virtue in Chinese culture this coin is struck in 9999 fine silver. The reverse features a Buddhist figure frequently represented in statues believed to bring good luck and fortune. He is portrayed atop a mound of coins against a background of stylised rays of sunlight on the reverse, the mound of coins in reference to his association with prosperity and abundance.
The design includes The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark.
Coin is housed in a contemporary latex display case which displays both sides of the coin, includes outer box and certificate of authenticity as issued by the Perth Mint.
